Natural Prostate Enlargement Remedies

Enlargement of the prostate gland is very common.  It is usually seen in men over the age of fifty.

Symptoms:

The first thing that is noticed is a slowing down of the urine stream.  This is followed by increased frequency of urination.  If infection is also present there is an urgency to urinate and a burning sensation while urinating.

There is occasionally blood in the urine, fever, cloudy urine, lower abdominal pain and distention, loss of appetite, and weakness.  A hard lump is present in the fork of the thighs or rectum which becomes very painful when pressed.

The Natural Treatment:

Alcoholic beverages must be completely eliminated.  The patient should keep warm at all times.  If symptoms are not relieved, and urination becomes increasingly difficult, a physician specializing in diseases of the urinary tract should be consulted.

Home Remedies For Prostrate Disorders

To reach the age of fifty is a milestone, but unfortunately this is also the age when men start developing prostrate problems. Four in every five men are known to suffer from prostrate disorders. It is a gland present in all males with the shape and size of a chestnut. This gland is situated at the base of the urinary bladder encircling the urethra. It is believed that 80% men over 60 suffer from some sort of prostrate disorder.

There are various types of prostrate problems or disorders such as hypertrophy or enlargement of prostrate gland also known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), and prostatitis or inflammation in the prostate gland. This condition is painless but causes trouble at the start of urination. This is because prostrate surrounds the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder) and when this enlarges urine flow is restricted resulting in frequent need for urination. It also leads to dribbling as the prostrate is not as strong as before. You can also experience dull aching pain in the lower back and pain in the hips, legs and feet.

In order for a man to be manly, it needs to produce mature sperm, healthy and particularly mobile in sufficient quantities to ensure the fertilization of the female egg. The ability to achieve and sustain an erection long enough to ejaculate and deposit sperm in the female reproductive tract is also important for natural conception.

The sperm are produced in seminiferous tubules in the testes which are also responsible for the production of testosterone male sex hormone, essential for sexual function and male fertility (among other things). The process of sperm production, formation of germ cells to fully mature sperm cells, takes about 70 days.
