Flomax CR is also known as tamsulosin and is used for the relief of the symptoms of enlarged prostate. This medicine works by relaxing the muscles around prostate and open the bladder for allowing the better flow of urination. It must be noticed that this medicine can not be used for shrinking of an enlarged prostate gland and for the treatment of swelling in the gland. However, this medicine can be used for relieving the pain and discomfort in prostate gland associated with the full bladder.
The drug used for relief for prostate gland must be taken daily and it is advised that the medicine must be taken everyday at the same time. It must be noted that the medicine must not be crushed, broken and split and must be taken as a whole. Flomax CR has widely been recommended by the health care practitioners. This medicine is safe to be taken with or without food and if you have missed it, it is not recommended that you must take double dose. It must be noted that it will not cure the underlying causes of enlargement of prostate glands.

He used painkillers but doctors asked him to avoid them because he has an enlarged prostate gland and it will be difficult to urinate. Due to IBS, he has constipation and diarrhoea frequently. If he uses a laxative, he gets loose motions. He also has nervous weakness and headache. His Barium meal and colonoscopy were done and the report was fine. So the doctor concluded that he had IBS. Now he has severe abdomen, nervous pain, headache, vertigo and loss of apetite. If he eats anything, there is severe pain in his stomach. Also he has lost 10 Kgs in the last 6 months. He has psyhological problem i.e. he is always tensed about his health and future. We have checked him up with many doctors but in vain. Their medicines don’t work. He also has insomnia due to pain. Please suggest an alternative medicine or painkiller which is available in India?

Wednesday, my dad found my uncle in his home after not hearing from him since Monday, dead on the floor. He had rectal bleeding from what we are not sure. My mom went inside and found a notebook in which my uncle had listed all his doctors, his sons from his previous marriage, his bank account numbers, his birth certificate and a few other personal things. On the floor beside him, was a lot of pills but there was an assortment. He lay on the floor holding his side which means he had some kind of pain. My dad had mentioned that he had been saying before that if anything was to happen to him, for my dad to take care of everything. And my uncle’s girlfriend said he spoke as if he knew something was going to happen to him. Do you think he committed suicide or died from one of these diseases; ulcerative colitis of the colon, degenerate disces of spine, hypertension, or enlarged prostate.
We are going to have an autopsy done, but we are waiting until we can contact all his kids and get ahold of his insurance policy to see who is the beneficiary so my dad can use that money instead of the money out his pocket(he’s had to bury 2 of his other brothers and his dad so he doesn’t really have the extra money to throw away). We understand and he’s going to get an autopsy done, but if they begin doing it, we will have to pay.
