My prostrate is enlarged, and I cannot urinate enough. My bladder feels full and aches. After taking a dose of viagra it sees that I can urinate more freely. Is this possible?

My dog as a enlarged prostate. The vet gave us meds but we do not thing it’s to shrink it because I looked it up online and it said nothing about shrinking the prostate. He is in pain, what can I do for him until I go back to the vet and have him neudered Tuesday? Help ASAP.

Ok, you have someone who has an enlarged prostate and it causes incontinence and he doesn’t realize that his bladder is not emptying fully. He goes for about 1 year with this condition until he gets anemia and is admitted to the hospital to have his overly fully bladder emptied and his kidneys need to take a break since they are inflamed./damaged.

The kidneys have sustained damage. Is this considered acute or chronic or acute/chronic?
